One of the successfully established next-generation entrants in the high-end SUV market, Tesla did it again with the new Tesla Model X Long Range 7 Seater.
Its high-technology capability is a trademark for Tesla vehicles as to how they are all engineered to become the safest vehicles in the world.
In fact, the Model X variations of the company have earned a perfect 5-star safety rating in every identified category and sub-category.
The Tesla Model X Long Range 7 Seater is an electric vehicle (EV) and offers that novelty look and experience but still carrying that super-safe ride that anyone would want.
Its battery packs are set up beneath the vehicle’s floor, thus creating a very low centre of gravity that conclusively decreases rollover risk.
Another novelty feature of the Tesla Model X Long Range 7 Seater is its “Falcon Wing” rear doors that can power themselves to either open or close.
Having a taller body than Tesla’s Model S, the Tesla Model X Long Range 7 Seater showcases forward-facing seats that can accompany seven people, added with a luggage and boot compartment at the front.
Last but not the least, the eccentric windshield of the Model X runs flawlessly from the base of the hood and up over the front seat, thus giving that almost uninterrupted view of what is ahead and above.
Engine and Performance
It has an all-electric vehicle, thus requiring no petrol nor diesel. Its transmission type is the drive inverter with variable frequency drive and can run from 0-100 mph in 4.9 seconds having a 660 Nm torque capacity.
Charging the vehicle is possible with the use of a charging station or a regular wall plug. How fast the electric vehicle can charge will depend on the charging station used as well as the maximum capacity of the vehicle.
Comfort Features and Key Equipment Specifications
Among other novelty features of this model are the 17″ capacitive touchscreen interface, accompanied by its multi-function steering wheel with tactile controls.
The Model X also provides that Summon feature, which will allow you to park or retrieve the vehicle from tight areas while you are standing outside, thus giving that novel feature for a high-end SUV.
