The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is a full-size luxury SUV manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and was the brand’s first SUV vehicle with four-wheel drive.  Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016, the Cullinan Black Badge is a permanent Bespoke family of cars that defines the design patterns of a new generation of super-luxury vehicles. 

It was launched in 2016 along with the Wraith and Ghost, followed by the Dawn in 2017. This darkest and most urban statement of Black Badge attracted new customers as it combined traditional codes of luxury, bold aesthetics and uncompromising lifestyle aspirations. 

The Cullinan Black Badge is built in an all-aluminium architecture, dubbed the “Architecture of Luxury”, which debuted with the Phantom. The Cullinan Black Badge is powered by a twin-turbo V12 that produces 600 hp and 900 Nm of maximum torque. 

It also benefits from a bespoke gearbox and throttle treatment that provides a sense of urgency without ever undermining its Rolls-Royce equals. To boost confidence in the Cullinan’s alter ego, the brakes’ pressure point has been increased and pedal travel shortened. 

The redesigned brake disc ventilation also allows these changes to occur evenly when braking at higher temperatures. The United States remains the largest market for the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, followed by China.
