Porsche has a new member in its Cayenne family. This sportier model has been added to the third generation of this highly successful SUV line-up.
The significantly steeper roofline, which falls away towards the rear, makes the new Porsche Cayenne Coupe look even more dynamic.
That effect is supported by a roof spoiler, which accentuates the distinctive Coupe silhouette.
The front windscreen and A-pillars are shallower than in the Cayenne while redesigned rear doors and fenders broaden the shoulders of the Cayenne Coupe (by 18 mm) to create an overall muscular impression.
The coupe is equipped with LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and a gorgeous (optional) 21-inch RS Spyder design alloy wheels including wheel arch extensions.
Offering plenty of space for up to four people as standard, courtesy of a rear bench that has the characteristics of two individual seats.
Rear passengers sit 30 mm lower than in the Cayenne, meaning there is plenty of headroom despite the sportier, lowered silhouette.
Highlights include sharper lines with a distinctive rear section, an adaptive rear spoiler, a rear-seat configuration with the characteristics of two individual seats.
There are also two different roof concepts available – a panoramic fixed glass roof (fitted as standard) and the optional carbon fibre roof.
Powered by the German sports car brand’s turbocharged 3-litre V6 engine. With 340 hp and 450 Nm available, the benchmark century sprint is completed in 6 seconds flat while the maximum speed is 240 km/h.
Even with such prodigious performance on tap, the adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) handles all driving situations with aplomb.
Technology and Comfort Features
To ensure comfortability in any adventure you take, the Porsche Cayenne Coupe comes with comfortable front seats with 14-way electrical adjustability and an instrument cluster with two high-resolution displays.
It also utilizes a new Porsche technology called the Porsche Communication Management (PCM). Other features include navigation via Apple CarPlay and BOSE Surround Sound System for maximum entertainment inside the cabin.
