Special Features of the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe
Electric Slide/Tilt Glass Sunroof
Adding a sense of openness to your 911 Carrera, the slide/tilt sunroof is now electrically adjusted. Without limiting the headroom, you can open this glass sunroof widely to the outside.
It has a large opening for an increased driving pleasure under an open sky. This feature also comes with a net-type wind deflector that protects the cabin from draught and reduces wind noise.
SportDesign Side Skirts
The SportDesign side skirts are now slightly flared and paintable as they replaced the standard flat basic sills.
Reducing the high pressure that enters your vehicle’s undercarriage, it functions by blocking the high-pressure area on the underbody’s side.
This will create higher pressure on the exterior, resulting in downforce and better performance.
Due to its one-of-a-kind design, the 911 Carrera 4 now is lower and more aggressive, giving it a slimmer and more streamlined appearance.
Sports Exhaust System
Designed to produce an impressive resonance and strong sports car sound, the new 911 Carrera 4 comes equipped with a sports exhaust system with black-finish sports stainless steel tailpipes.

With 12 completely active loudspeakers and an exclusive 100-watt active subwoofer, the BOSE surround sound system gives a superb audio experience inside the cabin.
Furthermore, this audio system is custom-tuned to match the interior acoustics of the sports car, enhancing your mood on any trip.
The Porsche InnoDrive further enhances the adaptive cruise control with innovative functions to provide a more sporty, comfortable, efficient and safer driving.
It functions by optimising your speed with the aid of high-resolution navigation data and information through radar and video sensors.
This feature determines speed limits and topographical road features, along with modifying the gear shift strategy and speed of your Carrera accordingly. It is designed for intelligent driving and significant efficiency advantage.

Experience a higher level of accessibility with the Porsche Entry and Drive system. This feature enables you to quickly enter and start the vehicle without the need for a physical car key.
As long as the car key is close to the car, the system automatically checks the encrypted access code on the key, and it will unlock the door.
Along with opening the driver’s door, the Porsche Entry and Drive also allows you to access the luggage compartment by simply placing your hand near the Porsche Crest on the front luggage compartment lid.

There are eighty-four individually controlled LEDs, adapting to the situation ahead by switching off or dimming the light intensity accordingly.
Furthermore, for enhanced illumination of your surroundings, the Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus is added to activate the left and right cornering lights to make the light cone broader and shorter.

Automatically Dimming Mirrors
The auto-dimming mirrors on the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe also serve as a reliable safety feature, especially at night when the vehicle ahead of you has a bright headlight.
When an extreme light source is detected, the mirrors darken automatically when charged by an electrical current.

2020 Porsche Carrera 4 – The 992 – My Take | REVIEW
Tuned 2020 Porsche 911 (992) Carrera 4 – Match the power of the Carrera 4 S
History of Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe
The Porsche 911 was renamed Type 992 and debuted as a 2019 model at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 27, 2018. It was the internal designation for the Porsche 911 sports car’s eighth generation, which has rack-and-pinion steering, MacPherson strut front suspension, and multi-link rear suspension. In addition, the 992 boasts broad rear wheel arches that are standard on all variants, as well as 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels.
The Carrera S and Carrera 4S, which debuted in November 2018 at the 2018 LA Auto Show, were the first cars in the 992 series. A 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged flat-6 engine power both variants. Porsche introduced the Carrera S and Carrera 4S Cabriolet in January 2019, with the regular Carrera model following July.
Its body panels are made of aluminium, and it is 45 mm wider than its predecessor. The 992 also sports a bigger rear bumper and exhaust tips. Its front fascia is designed to seem like an early 911 in a modern way. Electrical pop-out door handles, a retractable rear spoiler, LED headlights, and a full-length rear light bar are standard on all 992 versions.
The cabin has undergone major revisions, including a straighter dashboard that recalls the design of the old 911’s dashboard. The 992 also has two 7-inch digital screens and an analogue tachometer as standard equipment and a 10.9-inch display with Porsche Communication Management (PCM) and a navigation system.
At launch, the 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission is the only available transmission, and 7-speed manual transmission will be available in the Carrera S and 4S. The Sport Chrono package will also be available for both models as standard equipment partnered with the manual transmission. Equipped with a piezo injection engine, the 992 also has a revised intake system, and in some markets under Euro-6 regulations, this engine has particulate filters. It also includes driver assistance systems, including collision detection with braking intervention.
Wet mode is a function on the 992 that detects wet pavement using sound sensors in the wheel wells and modifies the stability control, rear wing position, and gearbox response to keep the car stable. Furthermore, the 992’s over-boost function in the Sport Chrono package increased performance for 20 seconds, and it reduced acceleration times in the 0-100 km/h range by 0.2 seconds.
China continues to be the largest market of the 992, followed by the Asia-Pacific, Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
