History of Mercedes-Benz EQV300 Sport Premium 7-Seater
Mercedes-Benz EQ is a line of battery-electric vehicles produced by the German automaker. The EQ concept vehicle debuted at the 2016 Paris Motor Show as a preview of the first model. The EQV is the second EQ model after the EQC. It was first shown as a prototype at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show, unveiled at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, and was finally released as a minivan in 2020.
Sharing the same wheelbase, the EQV was also based on the Mercedes-Benz V-Class. It can seat up to eight people and has a luggage compartment with a capacity of up to 1,020 litres. On the front axle, the EQV has a single electric motor that produces 201 horsepower and 362 Nm of torque. It has a top speed of 160 km/h, which is electronically restricted. Its 90 kWh battery pack is mounted on the floor and has a WLTP range of 405 kilometres. With a 110 kW DC quick charger, it can be charged from 10% to 80% in 45 minutes or less than 10 hours with an 11 kW AC charger.
The infotainment system features a 10-inch screen that displays charging current, energy flow, and a consumption histogram, as well as navigation and driving modes. It is an EQ-specific variant of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) system. It also has a range of cutting-edge features, including a self-learning voice control system with connectivity.
