Engine and Performance
The Mercedes-Benz C200 Saloon is powered by the all-new 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with the aid of EQ Boost mild-hybrid technology. On its own, the 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine delivers 181 bhp and 280 Nm.
EQ Boost adds a useful 14 bhp whenever the 9G-TRONIC PLUS automatic gearbox performs a kick down with the 48V starter/alternator acting as an electric motor to boost performance.
At full pelt, 0 to 100 km/h takes 7.3 seconds while the maximum speed is 235 km/h. Amazing performance for an engine this small!
The Mercedes-Benz C200 Saloon AMG Luxury is equipped with exclusive AMG features such as exterior body parts, interior trim, 18-inch 5-spoke light-alloy wheels, floor mats with AMG lettering and diamond grille as well as other goodies including black roof liner, sliding sunroof, open-pore ash wood trim and the all-digital driver’s instrument display.
Advanced Touch Controls enhance the multi-function steering wheel to the effectiveness and quality of user-friendliness. In addition to fingertip controls for features such as audio, Bluetooth®, and cruise control, smartphone-like pads provide direct control of almost every cockpit feature.
