Special Features of the Land Rover Defender 110 Hard Top
360-degree Parking Aid
This new 360-degree parking aid uses sensors integrated around the vehicles. These sensors provide real-time audible and visual feedback, indicating how close you are to obstacles.
Increasing your safety and other drivers, the LED headlights illuminate the road better with their broad light distribution.
It also prevents the risk of dazzling the oncoming vehicles through its daylight-like colour temperature so you can drive with ease during nighttime.
Full-size Spare Wheel
This new Hard Top vehicle sports its full-size spare wheel conveniently located at the side-opening of the rear tailgate.
The spare mounted wheel is specifically designed to provide ease of access whenever unwanted inconveniences happen while on an adventure.
Supported by the Pivi Pro, the 10-inch touchscreen uses swipe and pinch-to-zoom gestures to easily navigate your maps, multimedia, and other in-car settings.
This feature also comes with intelligent voice recognition for an added convenience to keep your hands safely on the steering wheel.
The newest technological innovation of the Land Rover, the Pivi Pro is a seamless in-car infotainment system integrated into the new Defender 110 Hard Top.
This feature allows you to do 80% of most tasks on the 10-inch touch screen and even lets you connect your smartphone to use your favourite apps easily while driving.
Interior of the Land Rover Defender 110 Hard Top
Maximum durability and functionality are found inside this five-door off-roader as it comes with comfortable seats and a technology-packed dashboard that helps you achieve that excellent driving performance.
Manually and electrically adjusted features such as the front seats and steering columns showcase relaxed driving, while innovative technologies such as the Pivi Pro supported by the 10-inch touchscreen and the analogue dials with central TFT display provide ease of use.
8-way Heated Semi-powered Front Seats
Inside the cabin, an 8-way heated semi-powered front seat allows you to enjoy a new level of comfort while driving.
With the press of a button, both the driver and front passenger can now enjoy heated seats with convenient multiple sitting positions.
Manually Adjustable Steering Column
Comfortability is the aim of the manually adjusted steering column as it provides a new level of driver convenience.
The steering column alters the height and distance of the wheel manually based on your driving preference. You can also move the lever fully downward to unlock the steering column to make it even more convenient.
Sporting a convenient way of opening and closing the tailgate, the new Defender 110 exhibits an assisted tailgate or gesture tailgate that includes an easy-to-use system.
This system detects your movement around the tailgate and opens with a simple gesture or a kicking motion. Just bring your smart key with you as you approach the tailgate.
Two-zone Climate Control
Experience a new found comfort as the new Defender 110 allows every occupant to enjoy their desired temperature preferences with the two-zone climate control.
This feature operates in a single zone with unconnected thermostats and provides heating and cooling to multiple cabin areas.
Enhancing your driving mood, this off-roader uses distinct alpine lights for cabin lighting. It reflects ample natural lighting through a touch of a button and matches your interior lighting to your driving style.
Exterior of the Land Rover Defender 110 Hard Top
Designed for optimum durability, this capable off-roader exudes quiet confidence courtesy of its purposeful stance, reductive and sophisticated surfaces.
A distinct silhouette instantly demonstrates its rugged character through the LED headlights, Satin Ceres Silver grille bar, 18-inch gloss white finish steel wheels, and its full-size spare wheel mounted conveniently on the tailgate for ease of access.
18-inch Gloss White Steel Wheels
With a gloss white finish, the 18-inch steel wheels of this capable off-roader exude durability and toughness. They provide ground clearance, off-road geometry, and traction for that dynamic performance.
These wheels also exhibit an increased sidewall depth to prevent car punctures and damages.
White Contrast Roof
The white contrast roof on the new Defender 110 Hard Top complements its quiet confidence and silhouette. It is also built with tough materials for added safety for the occupants and their luggage from natural inconveniences.
Sporting a compact and upright aura, this new off-roader features Satin Ceres Silver front and skid pan, grille bar and badging.
It also reinforces its overriding sense of capability through its characterful touches, such as the round LED headlights.
Manual Headlight Levelling
Another safety equipment to make every driving at night safe is the manual headlight levelling. It is a headlamp levelling system that manually adjusts the height of the cut-off line to the vehicle’s load condition.
This system also avoids blinding oncoming traffic when the vehicle is loaded.
Power-folding Side Mirrors
Parking in tight spaces is now an easy task with the equipped power-folding side mirrors. It can be operated with a press of a button located on the driver’s side door.
These side mirrors also come with a heating function, approach lights and an auto-dimming function.

Land Rover Defender 2021 in-depth on and off-road REVIEW
History of Land Rover Defender 110 Hard Top
The Land Rover range was first produced in 1948, and its concept emerged when the Rover Company ran into difficulties after World War II. It was a four-wheel-drive vehicle designed for agricultural use with its steel frame and aluminium body and is available in various configurations of wheelbase, doors and body style.
The SUV debuted in 1958 with a much more pronounced shoulder line that ran the length of the car. It underwent numerous modifications over more than a decade before becoming what it is today. In 1971, Series III moved the headlights from the grille to the wings.
Land Rover’s Defender has been completely redesigned for the 2020 model year. The new design is based on an all-new architecture typical of modern Land Rovers. The new Defender, christened L663, is significantly stiffer due to its lightweight aluminium monocoque chassis construction.
The new Defender Hard Top is designed to meet global safety standards and offer impressive long-distance comfort. An absence of second and third-row seats is the only difference between the new Hard Top variant and the regular Land Rover.
This new Defender has been designed to improve off-road performance and is renowned for using the strongest materials for optimum durability. It will be available as a 3-door SUV for the Defender 90 and a 5-door option for the Defender 110 with available trim levels of S, SE, HSE and X models.
It will be available in Europe and China, with the US remaining the largest single market for the Land Rover.
