Renowned for manufacturing rear-wheel-drive sports cars, BMW did it again with its new BMW M2 Competition Coupe.
It’s one of the best high-performance coupes ever made. A fabulous daily driver yet it’s super fast on the track (and will definitely give you the adrenaline rush)!
With the BMW M2 Competition Coupe, its sporty profile will easily be recognized because of its BMW M Mirrors added with the lengthened black Shadowline trim to its 19″ M wheels.
The thickset design that is seen on BMW’s standard 2-Series has been more improved on BMW M2 Competition Coupe with the added M2 badge on its trunk lid.
Sitting 55.5 inches off the ground, this new model looks smaller and stubbier compared to its counterparts 2018 M3 and 2020 M4.
Its rear quad exhaust that has expanded rear quarter panels, and accompanied with its rear wheels, improve the car’s grip and performance.
Although the main focus of this new BMW model is its exterior features that allow the car to perform faster and better for sports activities, it also did not cheap out when it comes to its technology such as its infotainment system.
With its 8.8-inch screen, this new coupe can display 3D maps in navigation mode and can also provide SiriusXM satellite radio.
This also includes the suite of Teleservice and ConnectDrive features of BMW, a CD/MP3 player package, Bluetooth streaming, Apple CarPlay, and dual USB charging ports.
BMW’s iDrive system and voice command system quickly reacts to input, thereby recognizing a high-quality package for the car’s technology features.
Engine and Performance
The BMW M2 Competition Coupe is powered by the 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline-6 Cylinder engine and is rated at 405 hp and 550 Nm.
With a 6-speed manual, or its optional 7-speed automatic, transmission handling gear-shifting duties and M differential, this new BMW model accelerates from 0-100 acceleration of 4.2 seconds.
Without a doubt, BMW M2 Competition Coupe is a very rapid car that can reach its quarter-mile sprint in just 12.4 seconds.
Comfort Features and Key Equipment Specifications
Among the several standard exterior features include its 3-spoke steering wheel accompanied by its performance-ready and lightweight standard M Sport Seats.
Its Black Dakota Leather allows you to feel the sense of performing rapidly along with the speed of the engine. Its simple and energizing dash layout is found to be slanted to the side of the driver, thereby giving more importance to the rider of the car.
