Your key is easily identified by one of the several antennas present in the new DB11 V8 Volante and the key housing itself.
The vehicle is automatically unlocked when a button or sensor on the handle or trunk release is pressed.
Roll-over Protection System
Maximising your safety in driving, the new DB11 V8 Volante now comes with a roll-over protection system. It is 99 percent effective in preventing deaths and serious injuries when used by seatbelts.
The roll-over protection system is designed to reduce car overturning, and it provides the best possible protection in the event of such an accident.
Dynamic Stability Control
Showcasing an innovative safety feature, Aston Martin carefully engineered the DB11 V8 Volante with the dynamic stability control system.
It automatically controls the vehicle when skidding is detected. The system guards against skidding through an optimal controlling engine output.
With the four-wheel anti-lock braking system’s combined control, the braking force is applied to each wheel.
It helps the vehicle maintain stability even in situations such as when cornering on a slippery road or when steering suddenly to avoid hazards.
Dynamic Torque Vectoring
By adopting a torque vectoring mechanism, which independently distributed torque to the left and right rear wheels according to driving conditions, the Dynamic Torque Vectoring system enables the driver to steer the vehicle exactly as intended.
It achieves high off-road performance even on the most challenging roads.
It also incorporates a disconnect mechanism, which features the world’s first ratchet-type dog clutches on both the front and rear wheel shafts.
These clutches stop the drive system rotations, which transmit driving force to rear wheels, significantly reducing energy loss and improving fuel efficiency.
Dual-zone Climate Control
Experience high-end comfort for you and your passenger with the dual-zone climate control, which is standard in the new DB11 V8 Volante.
With the dual-zone climate control, both you and your passenger can control different preferred temperatures autonomously.
It uses global positioning system technology that monitors the vehicle position relative to the sun. This also ensures the necessary adjustments to ensure that selected temperatures remain stable in the respective zones.
Interior of the Aston Martin DB11 V8 Volante
Full-grain Leather Interior
An immersive private space awaits inside the world’s finest DB11. The simple and supremely comfortable front seats are trimmed in full-grain leather.
Its sumptuous natural materials, the highest levels of craftsmanship and state-of-the-art climate control and infotainment technology also provide ultimate comfort and convenience.
2+2 Seating Configuration

With this configuration, the DB11 V8 Volante offers more space in the back for your children or some occasional usage such as luggage.
Electric Power-Assisted Steering
Reduce your effort in steering with the electric power-assisted steering, which is standard in the DB11 V8 Volante.
It uses an electric motor to lower the required action to steer the vehicle, such as the steering wheel’s torque.
A lateral force is produced through an energy transfer to aid the movement along with the steering rack.
8-inch Infotainment System with Capacitive Switching
High-end innovative technology is evident as an 8-inch infotainment system is carefully tailored for you to experience sophistication like no other.
With this feature, control the multimedia system by the touch of your finger as it comes with a capacitive switching.
A capacitive switching is essentially a capacitor from two adjacent traces.
Just place your finger on the capacitive sensor and the capacitance increases while removing your finger will decrease the capacitance.
Engineers at Aston Martin created this system to add iPod access to vehicles that don’t have an MP3 audio input. From the centre console and the steering wheel, you have complete control over the system.
Both iPod devices, including the most recent second-generation iPhone and iPod Touch, are supported for streaming and charging.
Showcasing its smart safety feature for your child passenger in the rear seat, the DB11 V8 Volante comes standard with an ISOFIX system.
It automatically locks your car seat onto two metal clips between the vehicle seat of your car. With ISOFIX, the risk of installing an incorrect car seat is smaller rather than using the car’s seat belt.

20” 10-spoke Silver alloy wheels
The 20-inch 10-spoke forged alloy wheels in the new DB11 V8 Volante with a silver finish help balance its elegant bodywork curves and lines.

It exudes its power and strength through its redefined iconic grille while adding an aggressive overall appearance that stands out in every crowd.
Enamel Wing Badges
An exclusive release for Aston Martin Accessories and a true work of art, the enamel wing badges are small changes that make a significant impact.
These beautifully machined enamel wings badges add a natural edge and sophistication to the new DB11 V8 Volante.
LED Daytime Running Lights
Integrated into the headlight clusters, the LED daytime running lights use LED technology that operates when your car is running.
Its primary purpose is to make it easier for road users such as pedestrians, cyclists, and other vehicles to notice your presence on the road.
These lights also make the roads safer during the day at the expense of a small fuel economy decrease.
When you shift into reverse gear, the Parking Sensor system is automatically triggered.
The vehicle’s rear sensors transmit and receive ultrasonic radio waves that bounce off obstacles and alert you to their presence.
When you get closer to the object, an internal buzzer begins to increase in volume. A continuous sound indicates that you are within 1-feet of the goal.
Power Folding Mirrors
The driver can change the side mirrors from inside the car, and they can also be manually folded flat.
These mirrors are designed to be incredibly comfortable while still aiding the driver in retaining knowledge of the surroundings. Parking your car in tight spaces, just fold the power-folding side-view mirrors inward.
This function can be used to help you fit your vehicle into small spaces, as well as for additional protection while going into an automated car wash or parking on a busy street.

History of Aston Martin DB11 V8 Volante
Since 2016, the Aston Martin DB11 has been a grand tourer built by the British luxury carmaker Aston Martin. It made its debut as a replacement for the DB9 at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016. It’s the first vehicle in Aston Martin’s ‘second-century’ venture and the first car since the company collaborated with Daimler AG.
The new DB11 Volante is the ultimate open-top Sports GT, setting new performance standards, creativity, engineering, and design. It’s not just the bodywork that’s making waves; it’s also what’s under the hood. The DB11 Volante is constructed around the all-new bonded aluminium frame first used in the DB11 Coupe and is powered by a new 4.0-litre bi-turbo, 510PS V8 engine. The DB11 Volante has been designed to offer a much broader envelope of abilities than the model it replaces and is lighter and more rigid. Increased elegance, luxury, and interior space accentuate the more sporting side of its character.
The DB11 is built on an all-new riveted and adhesive-bonded aluminium frame that transfers the focus from extrusions to stampings to provide more cockpit space. Its bonnet is made of a single piece of aluminium in a clam-shell style The Volante’s 3-stage powertrain and chassis modes allow this depth and breadth of capability. Working in complete harmony with the 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission, electronic power steering, and limited-slip differential with dynamic torque vectoring, the driver may adapt the car’s responses and behaviour lane, weather conditions, or the driver’s preferences.
The ‘aeroblade’ intakes in the front strakes, which push air out of the car’s back vertically and add a significant amount of downforce, are perhaps the most impressive aspect of the DB11 concept. This is referred to as a “virtual spoiler” by Aston Martin. The Volante’s hood folds to a class-leading stack height in just 14 seconds and 16 seconds and can be controlled remotely from the key or driving at speeds of up to 31 mph with a 31 mph headwind – and was thoroughly tested in Death Valley and the Arctic Circle. Compared to the outgoing DB9 Volante, the new hood system has resulted in a 20% increase in boot volume, giving you even more room to store your belongings.
The Aston Martin DB11 is a vehicle that can be praised for its beautiful nature. So much so that Axel Springer, a prestigious digital publishing company, named the two-door coupe the “most beautiful car of 2017.” Over 1,400 cars were ordered after the introduction of the Aston Martin DB11 Volante. On September 28, 2016, production began in the United Kingdom, China, and the United States. Andy Palmer, the CEO, personally tested the first 1,000 vehicles to show his commitment to quality.
