With a camera deployed just behind the front windscreen, the system can easily identify traffic signs along the road such as speed limits, “no entry,” and “no overtaking” that are already stored in the system and are checked within split seconds.
It can also refer to the data provided by the navigation system. The driver can access this data through the instrument cluster or the map view of the media display.

History of Mercedes-Benz GLA200 AMG Premium Plus (FM2021)
The GLA-Class is a subcompact luxury crossover that has been manufactured and marketed over two generations. Following the Mercedes SUV nomenclature, GL represents Geländewagen, which means off-road vehicles in German, while A is a designation of its overall position in the Mercedes range, the smallest or A-Class. Model cars are assembled and produced in a plant factory in Beijing, China.
The first-generation GLA debuted in 2013 with the GLA 200, an entry-level model that is 1.6-litre petrol-powered and has a power output of 136 bhp. Simultaneously, a 2.0-litre GLA 250 with a 211 bhp output was also made available; this includes both versions of the four-wheel drive and the standard front-wheel drive.
Following a concept GLA 45 AMG, which focused more on the range’s performance, offering a 355 bhp output and 2.0-litre petrol. In 2016, the GLA facelift was unveiled. Many upgrades were applied to this model, including a redesigned grille, new front, and rear bumpers. LED headlamps are now incorporated, while the interior carried over the same design.
Now in the second generation, the GLA-Class remains as a front-wheel-drive car, but everything else has been upgraded and remodeled. One significant upgrade in this generation is its dimensions – it has grown in all measurements compared to its predecessors, especially on the rear seat space. Acquiring 4.5 inches more rear legroom and 1.7 inches more rear shoulder room, and the cargo space seems to have improved.
Making the GLA-Class a more practically comfortable car to be in during longer trips. Inside, you can very well tell that the interior took a step forward in design, materials, infotainment system, while the suspension is entirely designed for a better quality ride. The GLA is perfect for someone looking for a luxurious small crossover with everyday utility.
The GLA-Class is available in 4Matic range (both front-wheel-drive and 4 wheel-drive models) and in AMG line, with a wide variety of specs to choose from Executive, Premium and Premium Plus, and others. The revamp 2021 GLA is most especially known for its smaller 4×4 style model combined with well-defined exterior and high-end interior materials. It remains as the GLA’s largest market are China, the United States, and Germany.
