Introducing… (drum roll)… the all-new Mercedes-Benz A200 AMG Premium Sedan!
And speaking of “first”, VINCAR is the first to offer this highly competent, four-door sedan in Singapore!
As it shares the same, front-wheel drive MFA2 (Modular Front Architecture) platform as the A-Class Hatchback. The wheelbase of both cars is 2729mm. However, as the A-Class Sedan has a proper boot with boot lid, it’s 130mm longer than its hatchback sibling.
Mercedes-Benz’s reason for creating the A-Class Sedan was simple. There was ample demand for a more practical alternative to the CLA-Class.
That’s not to say that the CLA-Class lacks practicality but as the new A-Class Sedan’s roof is less raked at the rear. It affords more headroom – especially important for taller passengers. In fact, the headroom for the new A-Class Sedan is comparable to that of the larger, C-Class Sedan!
Inside, the A-Class Sedan shares the same cabin design and features with A-Class Hatchback and CLA-Class Coupe. This means aerospace-inspired, turbine-look air vents, multi-color ambient lighting, and the fabulous Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system. With its dual 10.25-inch touchscreens and “Hey Mercedes” command which once used will allow you to request for assistance or information. It’s like chatting with a clever friend. Try “Hey Mercedes, it’s cold in here” or “Hey Mercedes, I’m hungry” and be amazed!

Engine and Performance
Powered by a turbocharged 1.3-liter 4-cylinder powerplant. With 163 hp and 250 Nm, which is connected to a 7-speed 7G-DCT gearbox driving the front wheels, the sedan takes just 8 seconds to zoom from 0 to 100 km/h. Keep your right foot floored and watch the speedometer’s needle swing all the way to 225 km/h!
As it’s equipped with AMG Premium goodies, the car is adorned with AMG front and rear aprons. Diamond radiator grille with chrome pins and single louvre, 18-inch AMG five, twin-spoke lightweight alloy wheels. Also come with a multi-function sports steering wheel with a flattened bottom section, like the ones in racecars!
