1. New BMW i8
The sports car of the future is now available in two body variants: coupe and roadster. Further developed BMW eDrive technology enables longer range. All-electric roof opens and closes within 16 seconds whilst travelling at speeds of up to 31mph. Sub-50g/km CO2. World premiere of the BMW i8 Roadster at the Los Angeles Auto Show in December 2017.

2. Mercedes-AMG E63S Estate wins!
BBC Top Gear magazine has named the Mercedes-AMG E63S Estate as its “Estate Car of the Year”, in its annual BBC TopGear Magazine Awards. The 612 hp E 63 S Estate, which perfectly combines ultimate driving performance and class-leading practicality, was as “no ordinary estate car – 604 bhp, 4WD, 1820 litres of loadspace, rumours of a derestricted top speed (in mph) beginning with a two.”

3. All-new Mercedes-Benz CLS is coming
The new CLS is recognisable by clear contours and reduced lines. Its character is marked by a grille that widens towards the base and a forward-slanting front section. Other features include wide, low-set headlamps and two-section tail lights. At the same time the design reflects the timeless aura of the first CLS, which founded a new segment and quickly became a design icon. All CLS models are equipped with new engines: in-line 6-cylinder and in-line 4-cylinder units as diesel and petrol versions.

4. Jaguar sedan is new King of the Ring
The 600 hp Jaguar XE SV Project 8 lapped the Nurburgring-Nordschleife in 7 min 23 s – the fastest ever time by a four-door sedan in production-intent specification. Designed, engineered and hand-assembled by SVO, is capable of 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 s and a top speed of 200 mph! Production limited to 300 units for sale worldwide. Watch the record lap here.
