The BMW 4 Series is a new range which replaces the 3 Series Coupe and Convertible and it was introduced in 2013 with the Coupe and Convertible being the first variants made available. The 4 Series Gran Coupe made its appearance in 2014 and it follows the formula used by the larger 6 Series Gran Coupe with coupe styling and four doors but it also have an extra hatch door known as a liftback.
Our 420i Sport Gran Coupe is propelled by the 2-litre TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine that produces 184 hp and 270 Nm. Matched with the ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, it sprints from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and top speed is 236 km/h. With its ability to seat four adults in excellent comfort, coupe body with low centre of gravity, and well-sorted suspension, it’s a great everyday car for the driving enthusiast.
The variant we have is the Sport Line edition and it comes with 18-inch double-spoke alloy wheels (17-inch is standard), Sport seats, Sport leather steering wheel and “Sport Line” emblems at the sides of the coupe. Other highlights are BMW Online Services, Park Distance Control (front and rear), Xenon headlights, speedometer and tachometer with chronoscales and contrast rings in red, Driving Experience Control with additional Sport+ mode and Extended Interior Light Package.
